Job summary

Brightlands Chemelot Campus is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth by attracting new companies and creating compelling value propositions. The role requires influencing long-term sales processes and working closely with campus stakeholders across corporate, research, and educational partners.

You will manage acquisition pipelines, identify strategic targets, and support existing tenants to grow within the campus ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant commercial experience in sales or business development.
• Experience with real estate development or pilot plants is a strong asset.
• Excellent command of English; willingness to travel within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full acquisition process from initial contact to a signed lease agreement.
• Identify and target companies that align with the campus's innovation focus; develop engagement strategies.
• Support existing companies on campus in realizing their growth ambitions.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders on campus and in the regional ecosystem.
• Monitor emerging trends and technologies relevant to chemical and biomedical sectors.
• Align customer needs with the campus's unique innovation proposition.
