Job summary

Monks is seeking a data‑driven professional to join the data team, shaping analytics, reporting, and data products. You will design dashboards, manage the project backlog, and partner with cross‑functional teams to drive smarter decision making across the company.

The role focuses on building scalable dashboards, surfacing insights from large datasets, and improving data quality and pipelines. Excellent English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Finance or a related analytical field.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Looker Studio / Data Studio).
• Knowledge of a programming language such as Python, R, or JavaScript.
• Ability to translate data into compelling stories for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and autonomy.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Advanced level of English, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with GCP or other cloud platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain reports and dashboards that help teams evaluate project and business performance.
• Manage the data team backlog, acting as project manager for ongoing initiatives.
• Analyze large datasets to detect trends, identify anomalies, and surface actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to offer analytical support and guide data‑informed decisions.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines using integration tools across multiple platforms.
• Develop and deliver clear data visualizations and spreadsheets tailored for different audiences.
• Monitor for data quality issues and proactively propose solutions.
• Drive process improvements that enhance the efficiency and value of the data function.
