Store Manager Role

As a Store Manager, you are responsible for the daily operation of your store, ensuring the highest performance possible in all areas within the operation through effective collaboration with your District Manager. You will adhere to market‑specific legal requirements, company policies, risk, and compliance structures.

Your overall success depends on the degree to which you are able to lead, develop, and retain a highly engaged team, meet cost budgets, reach sales targets, and drive EBITDA through existing and new company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Virtue-Based Leadership – effectively lead your team members in alignment with company virtues and operational principles.
• Recruitment – responsible for the recruitment, pre‑boarding, and onboarding of team members, ensuring optimal team positioning and future talent pipeline.
• Employee Engagement – develop and motivate your team through development plans, feedback, in‑store training, team meetings, and employee engagement score targets.
• Guest Experience – ensure a guest‑first approach, building strong guest relations through local community engagement and increasing overall guest loyalty.
• Operational Requirements – maintain a safe, secure, and healthy working environment by enforcing hygiene, health, and safety standards while preserving brand and local standards.
• Shift Planning – create an optimal store shift plan considering seasonality, local events, and other circumstances, managing employee absence, onboarding, and ensuring legal time‑keeping.
• Stock Handling – own stock handling including counting, ordering, and keeping waste below specified monthly targets.
• Performance Management – accountable for building sales and optimizing store EBITDA to achieve defined KPIs.

Key Performance Indicators

• Operational: hygiene standards, pest and fire safety control, and overall compliance.

• Guest Experience: returning guests, app conversions, complaints, waiting time, product availability, store audits.
• Store Performance: sales target, waste, salary cost, productivity, overhead cost, and EBITDA.
