Job summary

Dyson is seeking a dynamic retail leader to drive exceptional customer experiences in our Utrecht store. You will lead a team of Experts and Stylists, delivering hands-on demonstrations and maintaining Dyson standards on the shop floor.

The role requires strong communication, coaching abilities, and a passion for technology and service. You’ll work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet sales targets and keep operations running smoothly.

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment with team responsibilities.
• Confident, approachable, and energetic shopfloor leader.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Detail-oriented and reliable with high standards and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on demonstrations to drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Keep shopfloor clean, organized, and aligned to Dyson standards.
• Address and resolve customer queries and minor escalations promptly.
• Set the tone for service culture and customer focus across the team.
• Direct and support daily activities of Experts and Stylists on the shopfloor.
• Onboard new team members, demonstrating best practices and Dyson behaviors.
• Provide day-to-day feedback and coaching to foster a high-performing team.
• Communicate daily targets, track progress, and motivate the team to achieve results.
• Lead daily huddles or briefings for clear alignment and energy on the floor.
• Assist in delivering sales targets through personal selling and team support.
• Encourage product mix and attachment rate improvements (e.g., accessories and premium lines).
• Report sales progress or concerns to the Assistant Store Leader or Store Leader.
• Take responsibility for stock handling, replenishment, and accurate product displays.
• Ensure adherence to operational processes, including cash handling and health and safety.
• Support loss prevention and report stock or security issues immediately.
• Monitor POS materials and manage minor maintenance on the shopfloor.
• Act as a Dyson role model, promoting integrity, technology passion, and customer experience.
