Job summary

Baoase Curaçao is seeking a dedicated stewarding/dishwashing professional to maintain cleanliness and organization across the kitchen, storage, and waste areas. You will support the Culinary team, operate dishwashing equipment safely, and ensure adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced luxury setting.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work weekends and varied shifts within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in stewarding, dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, or hospitality operations is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items when required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, cookware, utensils, dishes, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, stewarding, storage, and waste areas.
• Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Remove garbage and recycling according to procedures.
• Assist Culinary team with basic cleaning and setup duties.
• Receive, store, and organize supplies as needed.
• Monitor cleaning chemical supplies and stewarding stock.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Support events and high-volume operations as required.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and service-ready.

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen, stewarding, storage, and waste disposal areas.
• Ensure dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment are operated safely and efficiently.
• Remove garbage and recycling materials according to company procedures.
• Support the Culinary team with basic kitchen cleaning and setup duties.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing supplies when required.
• Maintain adequate stock of cleaning chemicals and stewarding supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions, breakages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Support special events, banquets, and high-volume operations as needed.
