Job summary

Pulitzer Amsterdam is hiring a Steward to join our kitchen team in Amsterdam. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment and support the service flow behind the scenes to ensure high hospitality standards.

The role requires a proactive, organized team player with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Prior experience is helpful but not essential; we will train the right candidate.

We're looking for a Steward to join our dedicated Kitchen team at Pulitzer Amsterdam.

Behind every exceptional dining experience is a kitchen that runs seamlessly, and as a Steward, you play an essential role in making that happen. From our modern-Dutch restaurant Jansz. And Pulitzer Garden to our bars, in-room dining and events, your work helps every kitchen operation deliver the quality and hospitality Pulitzer Amsterdam is known for.

In this role, you'll help create a clean, safe and organised environment where our chefs and Food & Beverage teams can perform at their very best. Whether you're ensuring spotless kitchen equipment, maintaining stewarding areas or supporting the flow of service behind the scenes, your attention to detail and commitment to excellence make a real difference every single day.

Working closely with our Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams, you'll be an important part of the operation that keeps Pulitzer Amsterdam running smoothly. While our guests may not always see your work, they experience the results in every memorable meal we serve.

What we're looking for:

• A positive team player who enjoys working behind the scenes and takes pride in keeping things organised.
• Someone with a proactive attitude and a hands-on mentality.
• An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• The ability to stay organised and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience as a Steward or in a kitchen environment is a plus, but not essential-we're happy to teach you the rest.
