Qualifications
- PhD in mathematics, statistics or related field.
- Experience teaching statistics or mathematics.
- Ability to explain statistical concepts to students with different mathematical backgrounds.
- Comfort teaching statistics as methodology and as an empirical research tool; applications across fields.
- UTQ or willingness to obtain University Teaching Qualification.
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory and advanced statistics courses (and possibly other mathematics courses).
- Supervise Bachelor's and Master's students.
- Contribute to development and coordination of education.
- Coordinate statistics education within the department.
