Job summary

FHI, federatie van technologiebranches in Rotterdam seeks a motivated Junior Process Control Engineer to join a project team. You will implement logic from the technical design and databases, and build the operator interface under the supervision of an experienced Process Control Engineer.

The initial period focuses on expanding your knowledge during an induction, after which you will work on technically challenging client projects. We operate in oil & gas, chemicals, renewable energy and water.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (process automation, measurement and control technology, chemical technology, or electrical engineering).
• Internship or early-career experience in industrial process automation.
• Proficiency in Dutch, English, and/or French (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Implement logic from the technical design and databases.
• Build the operator interface under guidance of an experienced Process Control Engineer.
• Expand knowledge during the induction period and apply it to client projects later.

Job description

As a junior Process Control Engineer, you'll be part of a project team. You'll implement the logic from the technical design and databases, and build the operator interface. You'll do all of this under the guidance of an experienced Process Control Engineer. The initial period will primarily focus on expanding your knowledge and gaining insight into the various project phases. After this induction period, you'll be ready to move on to work on technically challenging client projects.

Personal profile:

• At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, for example, in process automation, measurement and control technology, chemical technology, or electrical engineering. (Other fields are also possible, of course.)
• Potential relevant experience within industrial process automation based on Internship placements;
• Good proficiency in Dutch, English and/or French (spoken and written).
