Shine is hiring three Staff Product Designers to own critical product domains, shaping experience direction across teams, and raising the bar for design decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing digital products, with a strong track record at Staff level or equivalent.
• You think in systems and ship in details, holding a long-term vision while staying close to user needs.
• Strong product thinking and problem framing; able to make trade-offs clear to PMs and engineers.
• Proven ability to lead data-driven discovery with research frameworks and success metrics.
• Deep design craft with engineering constraints and business context; hands-on with design systems.
• Comfortable in lean environments; create clarity and own scope.
• Natural collaborator across teams to build alignment without slowing work.
• You actively use AI tools to accelerate prototyping and exploration (Claude, Cursor).
• Bonus: payments, commerce, invoicing, accounting fintech or hardware-adjacent interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own the full design process end-to-end, framing opportunities and validating impact with minimal oversight.
• Shape a coherent product and experience vision connecting user needs with business strategy.
• Lead data-driven discovery with research frameworks, rituals, and metrics.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and domain experts to balance short-term needs with long-term coherence.
• Uphold design quality and craft across web, mobile, and hardware; act as a design authority.
• Contribute to the unified Design System and drive cross-domain alignment.
• Anchor decisions in clear success metrics and measure shipped impact against KPIs.
• Mentor designers and raise the collective quality bar of the tribe.
