Job summary

eBay is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to help design and scale ML models powering our advertising systems in a fast-growing, data-driven environment. You will own the ML lifecycle, from feature engineering to deployment, while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Leverage state-of-the-art approaches including GenAI and large-scale data processing to improve relevance, revenue, and user experiences across our marketplace. Amsterdam-based role with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field with strong ML systems experience.
• Proven ability to design and deploy production-grade ML systems.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End ML Systems at Scale: Architect, build, and evolve large-scale ML systems powering ad ranking and recommendations.
• Drive data-informed decisions using production data to influence product strategy.
• Own and elevate the ML lifecycle: feature engineering, model development, deployment and monitoring.
