Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. is seeking an SRP Operator I to monitor and operate HMI panels, perform quality checks, and support test results analysis. Role includes light maintenance, solvent handling, and following 5S standards. On-site duties require reliability, safety PPE usage, and ability to work across weather conditions. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 to 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer literacy, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Reading and writing skills; basic arithmetic ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on material to ensure they meet quality inspection criteria and specifications.
• Support analysis of test results and assist with implementing corrective measures to ensure materials meet standards.
• Support light wrenching and maintenance on SRP tower equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Ensure proper handling of solvents during sampling, testing and cleaning.
• Assist with inventory of hand tools and SRP materials, tracking stock levels and storage.

Summary:

As an SRP Operator I you will monitor, make minor adjustments, operate HMI control panels, and perform quality checks to ensure you provide high quality material to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests on material to ensure they meet quality inspection criteria and specifications
• Support analysis of test results and assist with implementing corrective measures as necessary to ensure that all materials comply with established quality standards
• Support light wrenching and maintenance tasks on SRP tower equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment malfunctions
• Ensure proper handling of various solvents during sampling, testing, and cleaning
• Assist with the management of hand tool inventories, ensuring they are well-maintained, readily available, and stored properly
• Support the inventory of SRP materials, including tracking stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring proper storage and handling
• Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position
• Follow established work instructions
• Able and willing to perform tasks in all weather conditions
• Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE
• Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements
• Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements
• Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required
• Maintain cleanliness at worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
  
  • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
  • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
• Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
