Job summary

Philips Eye is seeking a Senior Web Front-End Developer to lead modern, component-based web apps for data exploration and curation within the Azurion Eye ecosystem. You will work in Best, Netherlands, to deliver secure, compliant user experiences in a regulated medical environment.

You will collaborate with backend teams on REST integrations, drive performance, testing, CI/CD, and observability, and partner with product, UX, and QA to support clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of end-to-end software development experience across the full lifecycle.
• Strong React expertise and high-performance, component-based UI development.
• Experience with REST API integration, microservices, and cloud-native environments.
• Solid software engineering foundations with design/architectural patterns.

Join Azurion Eye—an integrated, AI-enabled clinical software platform embedded in the Azurion ecosystem. As Senior Web Front-End Developer in the AI Operator domain, you will build modern, high-performance web applications that enable clinical data exploration, data curation workflows, and secure data movement (viewing, uploading, downloading) for our clinical data lake platform. You will combine hands‑on front-end expertise with strong engineering discipline to deliver secure, compliant, and reliable user experiences that support imaging workflows and connected solutions in a regulated environment.

Your role:

• Design and build modern, component-based web applications for data exploration and curation, ensuring usability, performance, and robustness.
• Collaborate with back-end teams on REST integrations to ensure reliable end-to-end workflows and system interoperability.
• Ensure quality through code reviews, performance optimization, automated testing, CI/CD, and application observability.
• Partner with product, UX, and QA to deliver features aligned with clinical workflows, including integration of specialized visualization frameworks.

• Strong expertise in React and modern front end engineering for high performance, component based applications.

• Solid software engineering foundations (design/architectural patterns) with strong problem solving and risk mitigation skills.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and ownership mindset in Agile environments (regulated/medical experience is a plus).
