Job summary

FedEx Logistics EU is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst - Ocean to support pricing activities for ocean freight, carrier cost analysis, RFQ responses, and internal pricing governance. You will work with Product, Sales, Operations, and carrier partners to ensure competitive and profitable ocean pricing solutions.

The role requires experience in ocean freight pricing and strong Excel/analytical skills; knowledge of pricing systems like Power BI is a plus.

• Ability to manage multiple RFQs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ocean freight rates, surcharges, market trends, and carrier cost structures.
• Prepare pricing for customer RFQs, spot quotes, and contract opportunities.
• Support ocean product strategy by identifying market gaps, margin risks, and carrier competitiveness.
• Maintain and update ocean rate files, tariffs, and pricing tools.
• Review carrier offers and compare against market benchmarks.
• Coordinate with regional and global Product teams to secure pricing and allocation support.
• Ensure pricing aligns with internal margin guidelines, compliance requirements, and customer commitments.
• Monitor rate validity, surcharge changes, GRIs, PSS, BAF, EFS, and other accessorial charges.
• Support reporting on pricing activity, win/loss analysis, and customer volume performance.
• Communicate clearly with Sales and Operations regarding pricing assumptions, validity, exceptions, and required follow-up.

• Strong Excel and analytical skills; Power BI or pricing system experience preferred.

• Knowledge of CargoWise, Freightos/WebCargo, CargoSphere, or similar systems is a plus.
