Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Sr Associate Supply Chain - Sales Operations to ensure the timely distribution of orders to global customers. You will be part of the Supply Chain Sales Operations team, supporting order management and projects and driving customer satisfaction in line with Amgen policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics, 3+ years in GMP/GDP settings, and strong MS Office and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
• Typically 3+ years of Supply Chain experience in GMP/GDP-regulated industry.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Experience in Customer Service and/or order-to-cash processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask in a diverse, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the distribution of pharmaceutical products globally in line with procedures and customer requirements.
• Identify issues and implement proactive solutions; escalate when needed.
• Initiate and execute improvements to increase order management efficiency.
• Contribute to projects related to order management.
• Review monthly KPI reporting and participate in metric meetings.

At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day, more than 1,000 people from 38 different nationalities work on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new medicines.

What you will do

As part of the Supply Chain Sales Operations team, you will be crucial in ensuring the timely supply of orders to our global customers.

As the Sr Associate Supply Chain, you will contribute to the completion of milestones associated with order management and specific projects or activities within the team or department related to order management.

You will be a key player in ensuring optimal internal and external customer satisfaction that is in line with Amgen's policies and procedures.

Additionally, you will support and advise management on continuous improvement areas.

In this vital role, you will :

• Ensure the distribution of pharmaceutical products globally; all orders are processed according to Amgen procedures and customer requirements.
• Identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions. Escalate to Management when issues cannot be resolved by the team.
• Initiate and execute improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of order management performance.
• Contribute as a project team member for overall order management-related projects.
• Review monthly KPI reporting and advise on issues to be discussed during GSHE monthly metric meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
• Typically 3 or more years of Supply Chain experience in a GMP and/or GDP-regulated industry.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written communication.
