Job summary

cosine is seeking a PA/QA Engineer to shape the Product Assurance and Quality Assurance framework for space hardware development and delivery. You will work with ESA/ECSS standards, policies and processes to enable efficient engineering across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Product Assurance, Quality Assurance, or Systems Engineering in the space sector.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and institutional space programmes.
• Experience developing or improving engineering or QA processes in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Product Assurance and Quality Assurance policies and processes across cosine's space activities.
• Ensure compliance with ESA, ECSS, customer, and regulatory requirements throughout product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project teams to promote QA best practices.
• Advise management and engineering on Product Assurance, Quality Assurance, and compliance issues.
• Support audits, reviews, non-conformance processes, risk management, and continuous improvement.
