Job summary

ESA’s Systems Department in ESTEC Noordwijk invites students to join the Concurrent Engineering and Future Missions Section as an Intern. You will work on systems engineering activities, MBSE, digital engineering, and AR/VR tools, supporting multi-disciplinary projects and design studies.

The role requires ongoing university enrollment for the full duration and familiarity with engineering tools; programming in C# or Python and knowledge of MBSE are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be university student in final or penultimate year (Master level).
• Knowledge in Systems Engineering and MBSE beneficial.
• Programming experience in C# and/or Python advantageous.
• Familiarity with SysML modelling tools and engineering software recommended.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering and concurrent design activities (CDF Studies).
• Assist in MBSE, digital engineering, and AR/VR tool development.
• Contribute to design models, cost/sustainability roadmaps, and data integration tasks.
• Engage in multidisciplinary tasks across Systems Department competencies.
