Job summary

Telespazio Belgium is seeking a highly skilled Space Solar Array & Generator Engineer to support ESA projects from ESTEC in the Netherlands. You will contribute to solar cell and generator technologies across design, development, and in-orbit performance evaluations.

Role involves hands-on hardware expertise, participation in feasibility studies, and coordination with ESA teams. Relocation to the Netherlands is required, with a hybrid work scheme in NL.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physics or related field.
• General background and specific experience in space hardware domains.
• Experience in design, development and verification of space hardware.
• Knowledge of space engineering standards and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to ESA projects in solar cell and generator technologies.
• Participate in feasibility studies, project reviews and evaluation of proposals.
• Support R&D programmes for advanced photovoltaic generator technology, including testing and modelling.
• Coordinate activity reviews and provide feedback to ESA personnel.
