Job summary

Leiden Bio Science Park is seeking a Product Assurance Manager to ensure all products meet strict quality and safety requirements for scientific space missions. The role supports various design, manufacturing, and testing processes.

This full-time position, held under a temporary contract with NWO-I, offers a maximum salary of €5,758.00 gross monthly based on experience. Benefits include holiday allowance, an end-of-year bonus, and 42 vacation days.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Assurance manager is an advantage.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams (mechanics, electronics, optics, software) is a plus.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and their implementation.

Responsibilities

• Decide whether a product can be built and whether the process is sufficiently defined.
• Approve designs in accordance with quality criteria.
• Assess and improve design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
