Job summary

Corendon Amsterdam New-West is seeking a Spa Manager to lead the 1,000m² Spa & Wellness, guiding a dedicated team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will report to the General Manager, drive commercial success, manage budgets and inventory, and collaborate with other hotel departments in a dynamic, international hospitality environment. Fluent English is essential and professional appearance with a guest-focused mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within a spa, wellness, hospitality, leisure, or hotel environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Guest-focused, commercially minded, and results-driven.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
• Keen eye for detail and continuous pursuit of excellence.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is considered an advantage.
• Flexible and willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and developing the Spa team.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Spa & Wellness facilities.
• Ensure highest standards of service, quality, safety, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
• Create staff schedules and ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Manage reservations, administration, and operational processes.
• Drive revenue growth through promotion and sale of treatments, memberships, and retail products.
• Monitor budgets, KPIs, and commercial performance.
• Identify market trends and develop new wellness initiatives and promotional activities.
• Ensure professional appearance and smooth operation of all spa facilities.
• Manage inventory and maintain supplier relationships.
• Analyze guest feedback and implement continuous improvements.
• Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to enhance guest experience.

We are looking for you to become our new Spa Manager at Corendon Amsterdam New-West, a vibrant hotel located in one of Amsterdam's most dynamic and rapidly developing areas, just a short distance from both the city centre and Schiphol Airport.

You will be working in our impressive 1,000m² Spa & Wellness, a place where relaxation and guest experience come together. Our facilities include a Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath, indoor swimming pool, fitness area, and a variety of beauty and wellness treatments. What does your job incude?

As Spa Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the daily operation of the spa and wellness facilities. You lead and inspire the team, ensure exceptional service standards, and create unforgettable guest experiences. In addition, you are responsible for the commercial success of the spa, team development, operational excellence, and achieving business objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

• You have previous leadership experience within a spa, wellness, hospitality, leisure, or hotel environment;

• You possess excellent communication and organisational skills;

• You have a keen eye for detail and continuously strive for excellence;
