As Spa Public Area Attendant, you’ll keep Away Spa areas spotless and welcoming, support guests, and collaborate with Spa, Style, Engineering and Welcome Desk teams to ensure a premium, relaxing experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English.
• Dutch or other languages are appreciated.
• Experience in the luxury segment is an advantage.
• Work permit for The Netherlands is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spotless public Spa areas at all times.
• Clean treatment corridors, relaxation areas, changing rooms, and guest facilities.
• Follow all hygiene procedures and safety regulations.
• Assist Spa team in creating a relaxing environment for guests.
• Report maintenance issues and shortages.

What does the job include?

As a Spa Public Area Attendant (Stylist), you play an important role in creating a relaxing and luxurious wellness experience.

You ensure that all public Spa areas are sparkling, shining and impeccably clean creating the perfect escape for our guests..

Your eye for detail, commitment to hygiene and passion for hospitality help create the exceptional standards that define W Amsterdam's Away Spa.

• Ensure all public areas of Away Spa are spotless, hygienic and well-presented at all times

• Maintain the cleanliness of treatment corridors, relaxation areas, changing rooms, restrooms and guest facilities

• Follow all cleaning schedules, hygiene procedures and safety regulations

• Replenish towels, amenities, toiletries and guest supplies throughout the Spa

• Monitor cleanliness standards and take immediate action when needed

• Maintain a clean, polished and professional appearance

• Support the Spa team in creating a relaxing and welcoming environment for guests

• Work efficiently and independently while paying close attention to detail

• Report maintenance issues, damages, safety hazards or shortages to the appropriate department

• Ensure the correct use, storage and handling of cleaning products and equipment

• Follow health, safety and sanitation standards at all times

• Prepare your shift thoroughly and ensure smooth handovers to colleagues

• Thrive in a luxury hospitality environment where presentation and cleanliness are essential

• Collaborate with Spa, Style, Engineering, Welcome Desk and Laundry teams

• Be visible and proactive in maintaining the WET Deck, Lounge and relaxation areas

• Put the guest at the center of everything you do by ensuring a clean, comfortable and relaxing Spa experience
