Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam is seeking a skilled sous chef to help set the structure and direction in the kitchen, alongside the Head Chef, and to oversee daily operations with a team of about eight.

You will coach, motivate and develop the team through internal training programs and leadership masterclasses, benefiting from a fast-growing international environment with clear opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Culinary education (level 3 or 4) or 2+ years of sous chef experience.
• Lead kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Trainer qualification is a plus.
• Strong product knowledge and HACCP guidelines.
• Responsible handling of information and strategic contribution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in setting kitchen structure and direction.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and workflow.
• Motivate and coach a kitchen team of around eight employees.
• Provide leadership and professional development through internal training.
