Job summary

Guzco in Amsterdam is looking for a Solutions Engineer to own the bridge between our partners' systems and our platform. You will be the technical expert facing enterprise clients, leading discovery, scoping, and the full integration lifecycle.

You will translate partner needs into clear requirements, build production-grade integration scripts, map data flows, and collaborate with internal teams to protect the roadmap while keeping partners moving across REST, SOAP, and gRPC interfaces.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, client-facing role: Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Forward-Deployed Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Fluent in Python and SQL with deep, hands-on experience with REST, gRPC, and SOAP APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.
• Able to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build trust with client engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP, and infrastructure.

As we partner with enterprise clients and carriers, we are looking for a dedicated technical lead to own the bridge between our partners' systems and our platform.

About the role

As our Solutions Engineer, you are the technical expert who faces our most critical partners. This is not an internal-facing builder role. You are client-side, owning the relationship and the roadmap for our clients.

You will lead technical discovery, scope the integrations, and be the expert in the room. Your challenge is to build a smooth, reliable on-ramp for our partners' data, protecting our internal engineering team's roadmap while keeping partners moving. You will shape how we approach integrations as our partner base grows.

Requirements

What we're looking for.

4+ years in a technical, client-facing role: Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Forward-Deployed Engineer, or Solutions Architect.

Fluent in Python and SQL with deep, hands-on experience with REST, gRPC, and SOAP APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.

Able to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build trust with client engineering teams.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP, and infrastructure.

Comfortable leading high-stakes technical calls and solving problems on the spot.
