Job summary

Guzco in Amsterdam is looking for a Solutions Engineer to own the bridge between our partners' systems and our platform. You will be the technical expert facing enterprise clients, leading discovery, scoping, and the full integration lifecycle.

You will translate partner needs into clear requirements, build production-grade integration scripts, map data flows, and collaborate with internal teams to protect the roadmap while keeping partners moving across REST, SOAP, and gRPC interfaces.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, client-facing role: Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Forward-Deployed Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Fluent in Python and SQL with deep, hands-on experience with REST, gRPC, and SOAP APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.
• Able to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build trust with client engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical integration
• Lead the full integration lifecycle, from initial technical calls and scoping to building, deploying, and maintaining data integrations.
• Be the partner's technical expert
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise partners, translating their needs into clear requirements for our internal team.
• Build the bridge
• Write and maintain production-grade integration scripts, data-mapping logic, and microservices to connect partner APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) to our platform.
• Troubleshoot and solve
• Be the first line of defense for any partner integration issues, debugging and solving problems in real-time.
• Protect the core team
• Act as the buffer who protects our internal roadmap while finding creative solutions for the partner.
• Document the process
• Document what you build and refine a scalable, repeatable integration process as our partner base grows.
