Job summary

Flexbouwers is seeking an experienced solar PV installer to install panels on roofs and ground mounts, following technical drawings and safety standards. You will mount frames and connect wiring, ensuring reliable operation and weatherproof results.

The role requires working at heights, using a variety of tools, and performing basic testing and maintenance to keep systems running efficiently. A strong safety mindset and PPE usage are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels on residential, commercial, and industrial roofs or ground-mounted structures according to drawings and specs.
• Mount frames, rails, and modules using appropriate tools and fastening systems.
• Connect electrical components including inverters, wiring, and junction boxes to ensure system functionality.
• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, or cherry pickers safely.
• Ensure installations are weatherproof, secure, and compliant with electrical, structural, and safety standards.
• Perform basic system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance for optimal performance.
• Apply sealing and cable management to protect against weather and ensure durability.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper handling of materials and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, or cherry pickers to access rooftops and elevated areas safely.
• Ensure all installations are weatherproof, secure, and compliant with electrical, structural, and safety standards.
• Perform basic system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Apply sealing solutions and cable management techniques to protect against weather conditions and ensure durability.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper handling of materials and tools.
• Follow all safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
