Job summary

That Recruitment Company supports a marketing technology company seeking a Software Engineer for its core Product team. Hybrid and remote-friendly – based in the Netherlands. You’ll work within a Scrum team, building and improving a complex product ecosystem with ownership and hands-on responsibility.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering and Support to design, develop, test and implement new functionality, while upholding secure development practices and ISO 27001 standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and web technologies.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and internet technologies.
• Ability to turn abstract ideas into practical solutions.
• Proactive approach and genuine curiosity about technology.
• Confidence explaining and supporting technical decisions.
• Pragmatic, quality-focused mindset and ownership of work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement new product functionality
• Translate technical concepts into structured, maintainable software
• Contribute to architectural and technical discussions
• Investigate complex issues and provide second-line technical support
• Review and support the work of junior developers

We’re supporting a growing marketing technology company in finding a Software Engineer for its core Product team.

The company develops a data-driven platform used by organisations worldwide to manage customer data, automate communication and create personalised experiences across multiple channels.

You’ll work within a Scrum team, building and improving a complex product ecosystem while contributing to its wider technical direction. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of ownership, technical variety and room to share your knowledge.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, test and implement new product functionality
