Job summary

CNN, part of Warner Bros. Discovery, is hiring a Software Engineer II to support CNN Digital Global Editorial products. You will work across frontend and backend systems, triaging production incidents and improving daily editorial workflows.

You will collaborate with product, design and revenue teams, building automation and monitoring solutions to ensure reliable web content delivery for editors worldwide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full stack development experience with frontend emphasis.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause investigation skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud platforms.
• Understand engineering best practices, design patterns, testing and alerting.
• Experience with building responsive designs across devices.

Responsibilities

• Triage and troubleshoot production incidents and support editorial workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement new features.
• Build and maintain dashboards, synthetic tests and automated alerts.
• Participate in on-call rotation and document contributions.
