DataSnipper is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Document Intelligence Team in Amsterdam. You will build ingestion, processing, and extraction pipelines and platform services, working with Product and Agent teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in software engineering, strong C# or Python, backend services on Azure, and experience with distributed systems and AI-assisted workflows. Hybrid work in Amsterdam is offered.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of software engineering experience in backend and/or full-stack roles.
• Strong proficiency in C# and/or Python and their ecosystems.
• Experience delivering backend services in production on cloud platforms (Azure).
• Experience with distributed or data-intensive systems.
• Familiar with AI-assisted engineering workflows and Claude Code usage.
• Experience with testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) and a quality-first mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable across the stack, with either full-stack skills or backend with frontend willingness.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain components of the document intelligence platform for accuracy, speed, and reliability.
• Develop platform APIs and services exposing documents and extracted intelligence for multiple products.
• Operate cloud document store with metadata, retrieval, and traceability.
• Integrate with AI service providers to scale document understanding.
• Implement AI- and ML-powered extraction capabilities.
• Collaborate across teams and uphold security/compliance requirements.
