DataSnipper is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own the document intelligence platform — turning unstructured documents into structured, queryable data. You’ll drive ingestion, parsing, extraction, and classification while shaping APIs, workflows, and internal platforms that scale with volume and variety.

You’ll partner with ML and backend engineers to define extraction quality, performance targets, and evaluative metrics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product management, with focus on technical/platform/data products
• Strong grounding in document or data processing: extraction, classification, OCR, summarization
• Background in distributed systems and data infrastructure/pipelines
• Treats non-functional requirements as a first-class product surface: accuracy, throughput, latency, cost, reliability
• Hands-on experience creating/evaluating AI/ML or data-system evals at scale
• Fluency in model and tooling operations: build-vs-buy, cost/performance/accuracy trade-offs
• Ability to write technical specs and prototype to validate hypotheses

Responsibilities

• Own the document intelligence pipeline: ingestion, parsing, extraction, classification, summarization
• Own product strategy for the document intelligence platform, translating needs into API/workflow roadmaps
• Define storage, indexing, and retrieval approaches for processed documents
• Ensure platform non-functional requirements: throughput, latency, cost, reliability, observability
• Lead creation and running of evals to measure extraction/classification/summarization quality at scale
• Make decisions on models and tooling, balancing accuracy and cost, staying current with document-AI advances
• Collaborate with engineering managers, tech leads, and integrations teams to ship robust data infrastructure
