Qualifications

Job description

As part of our expanding team, we are looking for a talented C/C++ Generic Radar Software Engineer to join us in Enschede and contribute to impactful, high-tech client projects in the defense sector. You will work on advanced radar systems and optical sensors, which are critical components of integrated defense solutions.

As a C/C++ Generic Radar Software Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Developing and maintaining complete radar software for controlling radar systems and organizing radar transmissions
• Processing digital information streams to detect, classify, and track objects such as aircraft and drones
• Contributing to modular and robust software architecture for evolutionary radar systems
• Collaborating in multidisciplinary Agile teams with systems engineers, functional sensor designers, and real-time system specialists
• Participating in the development and maintenance of the software architecture, development toolchain, and Agile processes

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field
• At least 3 years of professional experience with C and C++ programming
• Experience with developing real-time software, preferably on a Linux platform
• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java) is considered an advantage
• Creative, open-minded, flexible, and a strong team player
• Results-oriented with initiative and clear communication skills
• Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
