Job summary

Vention Technologies in Eindhoven is seeking a Software Engineer to own the embedded software lifecycle, from design to testing and optimization, using C and C# for cloud components. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team and partners to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in embedded systems, familiarity with Zephyr or similar RTOS, hardware debugging skills, and experience with Azure cloud services in .NET. Fluent English and hands-on mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar (BSc/MSc).
• 2+ years of embedded systems programming in low-level C.
• Experience with Zephyr or similar RTOS is a plus.
• Hands-on with hardware and debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
• Experience with Cloud software development (Azure services in C# .NET) is a plus.
• Curiosity, pragmatism, and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop &/or Integrate embedded software using C and cloud systems (C#), ensuring seamless performance.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to build client solutions.
• Test & validate code to ensure reliability using simulations and real-world trials.
• Iterate & improve by proposing enhancements for performance and scalability.
• Take ownership of deliverables and work autonomously within a collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing:
