Job summary

Picnic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Warehouse Systems Engineering team in Amsterdam. You’ll own projects from concept to delivery, shaping technical solutions that align with business goals and product engineering practices.

You’ll tackle problems with a user‑centred approach, collaborate across teams on complex warehouse systems, and influence architectural choices to improve scalability and reliability in our platform.

Senior Software Engineer - Warehouse Systems Engineering Amsterdam

Our Java teams in the Warehouse Systems domain are the reason why our warehouses can process the volume of groceries they do! From dealing with inbound items, to ensuring the stock count reliability, to sending the groceries off to our delivery drivers - our software developers build tools and automations to power the entire warehouse platform. Through designing, developing, and testing new features, or improving the scalability and security of our platform, you’ll be managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, while finding yourself fully immersed in an engaging scaleup culture.
