A leading cloud infrastructure company in Amsterdam is seeking a hands-on Software Architect with substantial experience in Technical Program Management. You will collaborate closely with platform engineers and SREs to deliver scalable cloud platforms and drive execution of cross-team initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a solid software engineering background and strong skills in Docker and Kubernetes, along with programming capabilities in Python or Go. This exciting role offers a salary of up to 150k and hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a TPM / Technical Project Manager.
• Strong background in Software Engineering, SRE, or Systems Engineering.
• Ability to script or program in Python, Go, Bash, or similar.

Software Architect – Hands-On Cloud & AI – Amsterdam – Hybrid – 150k

My client is a fast-growing cloud and infrastructure company building large-scale platforms for AI and high-performance workloads. They are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with a strong Software Engineering or SRE background to drive complex, cross-team initiatives.

The role

You will work closely with platform engineers, SREs and infrastructure teams to deliver and scale cloud platforms and data center environments. This is a hands-on role: structuring work, unblocking teams and pushing execution forward.

What they’re looking for

• 5+ years experience as a TPM / Technical Project Manager
• Background in Software Engineering, SRE or Systems Engineering
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to script or program (Python, Go, Bash or similar)
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and observability
• Comfortable driving work across teams without formal authority
