Job summary

For You Agency is seeking a Social Strategist to translate client briefings into strong social strategies and creative concepts in our Amsterdam office. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, and you will work on pitches, campaigns, and annual content plans while aligning strategy with creative execution.

Job description

For You Agency is hiring across our team. We're looking for a Social Strategist. (This role is based at our Amsterdam office and requires fluent Dutch and English; the original listing is in Dutch and summarised here in English.)

About the role

As a Social Strategist you translate client briefings into strong social strategies and creative campaign concepts. You think about the big picture, but also about how an idea actually works across different channels. You'll work on a range of projects: from pitches and social campaigns to influencer activations and annual content strategies, making sure strategy and creativity come together and that content feels relevant and native on every channel.

What you'll do

• Dive into brands, audiences, market developments and competitors, and translate those insights into a strong strategy
• Develop creative, innovative strategies based on research, trends and consumer insights
• Contribute to pitch decks and strategy documents, making sure the story is substantively strong
• Think strategically during pitches and new-business processes
• Develop social media strategies, influencer campaigns and creative social campaigns from idea to execution
• Work on annual content strategies and campaign roadmaps
• Lead brainstorms and inspire teams with new ideas and angles
• Present strategies and campaign concepts to clients as a strong, pleasant sparring partner
• Work closely with copywriters, designers, creators and other creatives to bring ideas to life
• Continuously monitor what's happening in social, culture and digital trends and translate it into opportunities for clients

Who we’re looking for

• 3-4 years' experience in creative strategy, social, digital, marketing or a comparable role
• Experience conceiving and developing creative concepts and social campaigns
• Strong knowledge of social media and influencer marketing
• A strategic eye combined with creativity and attention to detail
• Comfortable running multiple projects at once and keeping oversight at a high tempo
• Curious about youth culture, digital trends and new technology
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable with Canva, Google Workspace, Google Analytics and social media analytics tools
• Fluent spoken and written Dutch and English
• Available full-time
