Job summary

Publicis Groupe seeks a Social Director & Team Lead to shape, lead and scale our social media capability across key clients and within the agency. You will combine senior strategic consultancy, operational leadership and capability development to drive measurable business growth.

You will manage and develop a team of social media professionals, act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, and set the standard for quality, collaboration and ownership across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media Studies or related field preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in social media.
• At least 4 years of direct people management experience, leading teams up to 10 reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of social capability strategy across clients.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members with clear growth opportunities.
• Define best practices and ensure high-quality output across the team.
• Collaborate with Head of Social and Capability Directors to drive integration and growth.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on strategy and growth.
• Build strategic external partnerships with platforms like META, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat.
• Identify new opportunities and initiatives to drive client growth.
• Oversee campaign execution and performance with continuous optimization.
• Contribute to new business, pitches and onboarding of new clients.
