Job summary

Variass is seeking an SMT Operator for our Veendam site. You will join a team of about 10 on modern SMT lines, responsible for placing and soldering SMD components and ensuring quality and throughput.

We value an MBO-4 level candidate with electronics/mechatronics interest, Dutch and English skills, and a willingness to develop in SMT. The role is 32–40 hours with permanent potential in a dynamic high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the SMT production process.
• Start up and set up machines (software).
• Check and monitor quality during production.
• Make decisions when deviations occur.
• Troubleshoot the production line.
• Prepare and set up production orders.
• Contribute ideas for process optimization and quality improvement.
