Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team in the meat department. You will cut, grind, wrap, and label meats to our standards, assist with seafood and deli areas, and ensure product quality and safety across the department.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by making recommendations along with answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
