SRE - Observability Engineer - In-House - SaaS - Up to €95K
Our client is a SaaS start-up/scale-up that builds an all-in-one communication solution for customer service. The company has around 120 people, of which half is the technology department. They have raised a strong series A funding of around 40 million, have around 3.000 paying customers and are looking to double in scale in the next 2 years.
We are looking for a highly experienced SRE Engineer to join our team and build out the observability platform from the ground up. This role is a key bridge between the infrastructure and engineering teams, focused on improving the quality of the product. The current observability system is ad hoc, and you will have the ownership and responsibility to build a robust, scalable system using tools like Loki, Grafana, Sentry, and CloudWatch. You will also implement OpenTelemetry to define clear metrics for various use cases, helping to measure the product's performance and ensure quality.
This is a highly agile environment with an "outcome first" mentality, working alongside 5 highly agile dev teams and 3 data teams. Your role will involve close collaboration with these data teams to understand and improve the product. The team is also forward-thinking, with future projects including the use of AI/Chatbots to create self-healing systems. You will play a key role in making that a reality.
