Nedap, via the Nedap Tech Platform team, is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to modernize and maintain a diverse infrastructure across Europe and North America. You will manage on-prem, VM, and cloud environments, build container platforms, and automate to improve reliability, working closely with application teams in a DevOps culture.
You will join a collaborative, hybrid role with on-call duties, 5-8 years of relevant experience, and English proficiency.

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our Nedap Tech Platform team. As part of a collaborative group spread across Europe and North America, you will modernize and maintain a diverse infrastructure that includes physical servers, virtual machines, and cloud-based environments.
Our infrastructure features container platforms, databases, observability stacks, and storage systems. As Site Reliability Engineer you will focus on automating legacy systems, improving infrastructure, and supporting the services that drive Nedap’s innovative products.

The Nedap Tech Platform focuses on unburdening and supporting development teams within the Nedap business units with all aspects of the software development process such as tooling, frameworks, deployment and insights. We believe that combining the different disciplines in software development leads to more effective collaboration and better propostions. We do this by offering expertise with issues such as architecture, compliance or quality but also with building an application platform.

The salary range for this role is between € 6.000 and € 7.200 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience.

As Site Reliability Engineer you’ll wil join a team where your ability to connect, adapt, and stay organized matters as much as your technical skills. With professionals across time zones, empathy, clear communication, and proactive engagement keep us thriving. As this position includes on-call duties: effective planning and time management skills are crucial to balance your responsibilities while ensuring seamless collaboration with teammates. You can also expect occassional datacenter visits for maintenance and/or hardware upgrades. We’re looking for a candidate with 5-8 years of experience in similar roles.
You are available for 32 -38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are living in the Netherlands and are able to visit our data centers in The Netherlands.
