Job summary

Optimus Life Sciences is seeking experienced Site/Project Engineers and Werkvoorbereiders to join a growing civil and structural construction team in the Netherlands.

You will prepare and coordinate activities, review drawings and construction documentation, support site teams with engineering queries and collaborate with designers, subcontractors and construction management on projects with a strong pipeline.

Qualifications

• Strong background in civil engineering, structural works or concrete construction.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel.
• Dutch language preferred; English acceptable.

I'm working with a rapidly expanding construction and engineering organisation delivering large-scale industrial and technically complex construction projects across the Netherlands.

Due to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, they're looking to strengthen their engineering team with experienced Site / Project Engineers / Werkvoorbereiders who have a strong civil or structural construction background.

The Role:

• Preparation and coordination of civil and structural construction activities.
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Supporting site teams with engineering queries and technical coordination.
• Working closely with construction management, designers and subcontractors.
• Supporting work preparation, planning and construction readiness.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong background in civil engineering, structural works or concrete construction.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel.
• Revit / 3D modelling experience would be advantageous.
• Good English communication skills – Dutch is preferred.

Experience working on major industrial, pharmaceutical or complex commercial construction projects would be particularly relevant.
