Pentair plc seeks a Site Lean Manager for its Enschede team to lead Lean initiatives and sustainment across the organization. You will drive value-stream mapping, waste reduction, and standardized processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role blends strategic planning (50%) with hands-on Lean execution (50%), requiring strong communication and change-management skills to coordinate with enterprise teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

  • B.S in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing LEAN Manufacturing principles.
  • Full ability to read and communicate in Dutch is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) within all organization levels.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of Lean business system projects.
  • Develop key systematic measurements for Lean activities.
  • Organize and deliver Lean training across the organization using Pentair collateral.
  • Create Value Stream Maps and identify wastes to target future state improvements.
  • Lead and participate in Lean events and continuous improvement workshops.

We have an opportunity for a Lean Manager to join our Enschede team. You will oversee the implementation of Lean business system projects and the development of key systematic measurements.

  • Align with the Enterprise team to ensure consistency of approach and adoption
  • Organise, plan, and deliver effective team training based on the Lean principles, methodologies, and concepts throughout the whole organization using the Standard Pentair training collateral
  • Create Value stream Maps; Current, future, and ideal states to assess operational current condition, inclusive of the identification of the eight types of waste as well as targeting future state delivery and sustainment year over year
  • Define measurable SPQDCC goals and objectives for Lean activities with associated execution deliverables
  • Build and facilitate multidisciplinary short and long-term Lean activities
  • Implement and follow up Lean improvements, including the sustainment of results
  • Identify and evaluate equipment automation requirements to support Lean implementations
  • Communicate plans, actions, and results to the company (PDCA)
  • Execute company strategy associated with implementation of lean systems, in a fast-paced environment
  • Promote and ensure Lean practices throughout company and external suppliers
  • Facilitate or support in facilitating workshops and Kaizen events
  • Participate in benchmark Enterprise-wide Lean events with sister and external companies
Key Qualifications:
  • B.S in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing LEAN Manufacturing principles
  • Full ability to read and communicate in Dutch is a strong preference
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) within all organization levels
Key Competencies & Capabilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of the Lean tools; Value Stream Mapping, Transactional Process Improvements and Process End-2-End Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, Creating Continuous Flow, Root-Cause Problem Solving in production and office environments.
  • Good analytical skills: 6 Sigma Master Black Belt / Black Belt level with the ability to Project manage would be a plus
  • Demonstrate effective change management skills; Influencing, Communication, Change Management, Stakeholder Management
  • Evidence of effective Coaching / Mentoring, Facilitation, and Presenting
  • Ability to work at all levels of the organization
  • The role is part strategic (50%) and part hands on (50%). He/She must be able to work at both levels

Must be available to travel to other Pentair Businesses and Lean exchange events if required.

Pentair is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent pay practices in line with the EU Pay Directive. For this full-time position working at this location, theindicativeannualized base salary range will be from 4.590 - 6550 per month. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position, including experience, training, pertinent educationand qualifications, work location, any relevant provisions of applicable collective agreementsand other relevant business or organizational needs. Whilst we include an indicative pay range to provide information for you to consider, more detailed information as to your salary will be provided should an offer be made to you, once the company has a better understanding of your skills, qualifications and experience. Additional components of the overall reward package will also be discussed during the recruitment process and will be confirmed to you, which may include an annual incentive bonus In the event that there are relevant provisions of a collective agreement applied by Pentair in relation to the position, this will be provided to you during the recruitment process.
