Greycoat Lumleys seeks an experienced Private Chef based in Amsterdam to work for an international, jet-setting principal. The role is initially 1 month with potential to extend into a permanent position, cooking primarily at the Amsterdam residence and for private jet travel.

The candidate should have experience as a Private Chef, be flexible, and able to handle a wide range of international cuisines with no dietary restrictions. Occasional travel is desirable but not essential.

Private Chef | Amsterdam | Temporary to Permanent

£350 per day

Daily rate in Euros

Approximately €408 per day

Greycoat Lumleys is recruiting an experienced and versatile Private Chef for an international, jet-setting principal based in Amsterdam. This is initially a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.

The principal travels frequently and is rarely in one location for long. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for cooking at his Amsterdam residence, as well as preparing meals for his private jet. Occasional travel with the principal would be desirable but is not essential.

The role involves cooking predominantly for one principal, with numbers increasing when he is entertaining. He enjoys a wide variety of cuisines, bold flavours and exciting dishes, and has no dietary restrictions. We are looking for a confident, creative and adaptable chef who can turn their hand to a broad range of international cuisines and deliver consistently exceptional food.

Candidate requirements

• Must be based in Amsterdam and have EU right to work
• Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check.
• Experience working as a Private Chef, ideally within a private household.
• Confident preparing a wide variety of international cuisines.
• Flexible and adaptable to the principal's changing schedule.
• Able to cater for both everyday dining and larger occasions.
• Experience preparing food for private aviation would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel occasionally would be desirable but is not essential.
