Job summary

For Believers is seeking a Shopify Consultant to bridge clients and an internal team, translating business challenges into scalable Shopify solutions in Amsterdam. You’ll partner with designers, developers, marketers and PMs to deliver end-to-end ecommerce projects that align with client growth ambitions.

You will guide migrations, optimisations and app integrations while staying current on Shopify developments and best practices, with a strong emphasis on Dutch-speaking client advisory and

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Shopify/Shopify Plus or a comparable ecommerce platform.
• Understanding of how modern ecommerce platforms are structured and integrate with other systems.
• Knowledge of Shopify Markets, checkout, payments, apps, product data, fulfilment and integrations.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset and ability to translate client challenges into practical solutions.
• Confident in client meetings, workshops and presentations.
• Structured, proactive and solution-oriented with stakeholder management.
• Experience at a digital agency or with complex Shopify Plus environments is a plus.
• Fluent Dutch is mandatory; good English is required.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the possibilities of Shopify and Shopify Plus.
• Translate business objectives and needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze ecommerce processes including product management, checkout, payments, fulfilment, returns and international sales.
• Advise on Shopify apps, integrations and solutions within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate ERP, PIM, CRM, payment and fulfilment systems with Shopify.
• Create functional documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria and proposals.
• Guide clients through implementations, migrations and optimisation projects.
• Test new functionality from a user perspective and identify improvements for conversion and performance.
• Conduct client workshops, demonstrations and training sessions.
• Stay up to date with Shopify developments and best practices.

THE ROLE

As aShopify Consultant, you are the key link between the client and the internal project team. You understand the client’s commercial objectives,analysetheir needs and translate these into clear functional and technical solutions within the Shopify ecosystem.

You have a strong understanding ofShopify and Shopify Plus, although you do not need to be a developer. Youare able tocommunicate effectively with developers and understand what is technically required to turn an idea into a successful solution.

Working closely with designers, developers, marketers and project managers, you guide clients through implementations, migrations andoptimisationprojects and ensure that solutions are aligned with theirorganisation, customers and growth ambitions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise clients on the possibilities of Shopify and Shopify Plus.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have proven experience working withShopify, Shopify Plus or a comparable eCommerce platform.
• You understand how modern eCommerce platforms are structured and how different systems and integrations work together.
• You have knowledge of areas such as Shopify Markets, checkout, payments, apps, product data, fulfilment and system integrations.
• You can translate technical concepts into clear and understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
• You are commercially minded and strong atanalysingclient challenges and translating them into practical solutions.
• You are confident in client meetings, workshops and presentations.
• You are structured, proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage different interests and dependencies.
• You enjoy working at the intersection oftechnology, eCommerce and customer experience.
• Fluent Dutch is a MUST. You will be advising and guiding Dutch-speaking clients on their Shopify environment, so excellent Dutch communication skills are essential.
• You have a good command of English.
• Experience within a digital agency and/or with complex Shopify Plus environments is a strong advantage.
