Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV – Echt location is seeking a Production Quality Engineer to safeguard and continuously improve quality across manufacturing processes. You will analyze deviations, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions on both customer- and supplier-related issues.

You work with process and manufacturing colleagues, lead 8D/DMAIC Lean initiatives, and serve as Prevention Officer to maintain a safe, healthy workplace.

Qualifications

• MBO degree or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or technical discipline.
• Experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Affinity with electronics and/or mechanical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, and Lean.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• A proactive, independent, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and continuously improving production quality control methods.
• Performing quality inspections, including cleanroom inspections, per standards and procedures.
• Analyzing product and process quality data and preparing management reports.
• Handling customer and supplier complaints and leading structured root cause analyses.
• Initiating, coordinating, and following up continuous improvement projects.
• Supporting incoming inspection activities and New Product Introduction with quality requirements.
• Acting as Prevention Officer and contributing to a safe, healthy working environment.
