Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an experienced Ship/Rec/Stores Clerk IV to join our Distribution Center in Heerlen, the Netherlands. You will perform complex shipping, receiving and storage activities while helping coordinate the day-to-day work of the team.

You will act as an experienced point of contact, provide guidance and training, and may support the supervisor in leading daily operations. This on-site role requires strong logistics experience and excellent communication in Dutch and/or English.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years' relevant work experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution.
  • Advanced knowledge of warehouse and distribution processes and systems.
  • Ability to guide, coach or train colleagues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; Dutch and/or English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex shipping, receiving, storage and related administrative activities within the Distribution Center.
  • Coordinate and support day-to-day operational activities and help ensure work is completed according to established procedures and priorities.
  • Receive, prepare, verify and process products, materials, shipments and related documentation.
  • Use computer systems to track, register, verify and report materials and shipments.
  • Independently handle operational issues and complex or special assignments within the Distribution Center.
  • Support the supervisor or manager by providing instructions, delegating tasks and reviewing the work of other team members where required.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to colleagues and act as an experienced point of contact within the team.
  • Work with the supervisor to identify and recommend improvements to systems, processes and ways of working.
  • Communicate with internal and external contacts on operational matters as needed.
  • This position may act as a team lead or assistant to the supervisor or manager but does not have formal people management responsibilities.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Ship/Rec/Stores Clerk IV to join our Distribution Center team in Heerlen, the Netherlands. In this role, you will perform complex shipping, receiving and storage activities while helping coordinate the day-to-day work of the team. You will act as an experienced point of contact for colleagues, provide guidance and training, and may support the supervisor or manager in leading daily operations. You will use your advanced operational knowledge to resolve issues, support complex or special assignments and help identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working. This is a fully on-site position based at our Distribution Center in Heerlen.

Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, for example within logistics, warehousing, shipping, receiving or a distribution environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of warehouse and distribution processes, systems and procedures.
  • Experience handling complex operational activities and resolving issues independently.
  • Experience providing guidance, coaching or training to colleagues.
  • Ability to coordinate daily activities, delegate tasks and review work where required.
  • Able to identify opportunities for operational improvement and work with the supervisor to implement practical solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Accurate and quality-conscious, with good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English.
  • Relevant vocational education or certification, such as an MBO qualification in logistics, is considered an advantage.
