With the launch of a brand‑new factory in North Limburg, this is an exciting opportunity to step into the role of SHEQ Specialist at an early stage—shaping processes, driving improvements, and making a meaningful impact.

Within this global manufacturing environment, safety, quality, and continuous improvement are key priorities. The position offers a high degree of autonomy and the ability to directly influence the daily production operations.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management: Support the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS). Perform advanced process audits and analyze statistical data to ensure compliance.
• Safety Inspections: Proactively inspect work sites to detect hazards, facilitating immediate reporting and resolution to maintain a gold-standard work environment.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace incidents and customer complaints. You’ll identify root causes and propose sustainable corrective actions.
• Process Improvement: Propose changes to testing parameters and frequencies. You will identify opportunities to streamline procedures and elevate deviations when necessary.
• Mentorship & Training: Deliver training sessions on regulatory topics and act as a mentor for junior team members.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to maintain documentation and prepare for external ISO audits.

Candidate Profile

• Education: At least HBO or MBO level 3/4 in a technical or related field.
• Experience: Proven background in quality and safety within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Analytical, curious, flexible, and results‑oriented; able to take initiative and maintain oversight in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus but not required.
• Strong awareness of safety and risk management; experience with QMS/ISO and (internal) audits is a plus.
• Practical mindset and a visible presence on the shop floor among operators and technicians.

Terms of Employment

• Salary: €45K per year depending on experience.
• Shift option: Working in the rotating schedule (average 33.75 hours/week).
• On‑site role: Fully on‑site in Venlo.
• Work in a modern production environment with new lines and a brand‑new facility.
• High level of responsibility: you are the key SHEQ point of contact for the new site.
• Training and development opportunities, including potential growth toward SHEQ roles.
