Job summary

Olympia is op zoek naar een allround plaatwerker die reparaties en onderhoud uitvoert aan vliegtuigonderdelen in de Maastricht-regio. Je werkt nauwkeurig volgens specificaties en professionele gereedschappen.

Ongeveer 20-30% van je werk is administratief, met het lezen van technische tekeningen en handleidingen in het Engels. De functie is fulltime, met 37–40 uur per week en uitzicht op een vast contract bij een goede match.

Qualifications

• MBO+ niveau/werkervaring; hands-on, nauwkeurig en geduld met administratieve taken.
• Open to recent graduates met stage-ervaring.
• Affinity voor plaatwerk of metaalbewerking.
• Goede leesvaardigheid Engels (technische tekeningen en handleidingen in het Engels).

Responsibilities

• Als plaatwerkendeler voer je reparaties en onderhoud uit aan vliegtuigonderdelen.
• Lees en werk met technische tekeningen en handleidingen in het Engels.
• Je wisselt hands-on werkzaamheden af met nauwkeurige documentatie.

Wat ga je doen?

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you carry out repairs and maintenance work on aircraft components. You work precisely, following fixed specifications and using professional tools. About 20-30% of your work is administrative, involving reading and working with technical drawings and manuals in English. You switch between hands‑on work and careful documentation.

Waar ga je werken?

You will work for a leading, independent aircraft maintenance organization in the Maastricht region, right alongside aircraft, as part of an international team with short lines of communication. This is a full‑time position.

Wie ben je?

• MBO+ level of thinking and working: skilled with hands, detail-oriented, and patient with administrative tasks.
• Open to recent graduates with internship experience.
• Affinity for sheet metal work or metalworking (e.g., automotive body repair).
• Good English reading and understanding skills (technical drawings and manuals are in English).
• Flexible schedule, willing to work evenings or weekends if needed after 8 months of employment.
