Job summary

Olympia zoekt een Material Coordinator als instappositie binnen het inkoopteam. Je ondersteunt inkopers bij het traceren en bestellen van onderdelen voor vliegtuigmaintenance, leert stap voor stap het vak en bouwt ervaring op in orderverwerking, leveringstracking en administratie.

Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met senior inkopers en monteurs; bijv. onderdelen die niet direct op voorraad zijn, zoek je actief naar oplossingen. Een kans op vast contract bij een goede match.

Qualifications

• MBO-niveau denken en werken of bereid om op dit niveau te starten en te leren.
• Leer- en leergierig; wilt graag leren en vooruitgang boeken.
• Goede Engelse communicatievaardigheden.
• Precis en prettig werken met systemen en administratie.
• Proactief: bij hinder meteen zelf een oplossing zoeken.

Responsibilities

• Bestellingen plaatsen en leveringsstatus bijhouden.
• Administratie en systemen up-to-date houden.
• De forecast/het Part- en voorraadbeheer volgen naarmate ervaring toeneemt.
• Samenwerken met senior inkopers, inkopers en monteurs op de werkvloer.
• Actief zoeken naar onderdelen die niet op voorraad zijn.

Wat ga je doen?

As Material Coordinator, you're the entry-level role within the purchasing team. You support the buyers in tracking down and ordering parts for aircraft maintenance, learning the trade step by step.

You start with the more straightforward tasks: placing orders, tracking delivery status, and making sure administration and systems are accurate. As you gain experience, you'll take on more responsibility and start actively tracking down parts that aren't directly in stock yourself.

You work closely with the senior buyers and buyers in the team, as well as with the mechanics on the shop floor.

You'll be working for a leading, independent aircraft maintenance organization in the Maastricht region. You'll be working right alongside the aircraft, as part of an international team with short lines of communication. It's a full‑time position.
