Airworks Inflatables, the world-leading inflatable design and production company, invites a Sewing Specialist to join our Amsterdam studio. You will focus on sewing large-scale fabric patterns, operate industrial machines, and ensure quality across complex pieces for global productions.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, report to Sewing Leads, and contribute to high-profile projects for concerts, festivals, and theme parks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or professional sewing.
• Comfortable using industrial sewing machines and basic maintenance.
• A team player who communicates clearly and works well in a collaborative environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and craftsmanship.
• Able to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities on fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Sew large-scale, custom-designed fabric patterns with accuracy and consistency.
• Operate and care for a variety of industrial sewing machines.
• Work with technical fabrics, specialty textiles, and printed materials.
• Follow guidance and instructions from Sewing Leads and project documentation.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary production team to meet project deadlines.
• Support and coordinate with freelance seamsters/seamstresses during high-volume periods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

As a Sewing Specialist, you'll be an essential part of our production team, focusing on the hands-on assembly of large, intricate fabric structures. You'll collaborate closely with other sewing team members and report directly to our Sewing Leads, ensuring every piece meets our high standards of quality and precision.
