Job summary

TSL is recruiting a practical, accurate Setting Out Engineer to support the delivery of complex construction projects, including data centre works in the Netherlands. You will translate approved drawings and BIM data into precise positions on site, working under the Senior Project Manager to ensure accuracy and first-time right execution.

You will coordinate with CSA/MEP interfaces, Project Director, and subcontractors, maintain traceable survey records, and perform pre-pour and post-install

Qualifications

• Degree or higher technical diploma in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Land Surveying, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years setting-out or site-engineering on large/complex construction projects.
• Competence with robotic total stations and digital levelling equipment (Leica/Trimble/Topcon or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interrogate construction drawings and BIM data (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Establish, verify and maintain survey control points, benchmarks and levels.
• Set out foundations, structural elements, slabs, walls and openings.
• Use robotic total stations and GNSS to achieve required accuracy.
• Interpret drawings and BIM information before setting out work.
• Perform as-built surveys and report deviations or clashes.
• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors on reference information and tolerances.
