Job summary

Mifa Aluminium B.V. in Venlo zoekt een Service Technician om onderhoud en storingen aan geavanceerde productieapparatuur te verzorgen. Je voert preventief en correctief onderhoud uit, analyseert problemen en werkt aan revisies samen met Engineering.

Je werkt met elektrotechnische, mechanische en hydraulische systemen, leest technische tekeningen en rapporteert activiteiten in het onderhoudssysteem. Een praktische, hands-on instelling en bereidheid tot een 2-ploegendienst zijn vereist.

Qualifications

• MBO-niveau technische opleiding of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
• Ervaring in industriële onderhouds-/servicetechniek.
• Sterke kennis van elektrische en mechanische systemen.
• Kennis en ervaring met hydraulische systemen.
• Ervaring met storingenanalyse en diagnose.
• In staat zelfstandig technische problemen te analyseren en op te lossen.
• Kunnen lezen van elektrische en mechanische tekeningen en schema's.
• Praktische en hands-on werkhouding.
• Bereidheid tot werken in een 2-ploegendienst.
• Veiligheidsgerichte en kwaliteitsbewuste werkhouding.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands, Engels of Duits.

Responsibilities

• Storingen analyseren en technisch falen van machines oplossen.
• Root causes identificeren en reparatiemethoden bepalen.
• Preventief en correctief onderhoud uitvoeren.
• Elektrische, mechanische en hydraulische onderdelen repareren/vervangen.
• Gedeelten en complete machines reviseren.
• Interne kalibratieprocedures uitvoeren.
• Machinewijzigingen in samenwerking met Engineering doorvoeren.
• Testen van machines en apparatuur na reparaties of wijzigingen.
• Lezen en werken met tekeningen en schema's.
• Onderhoudsactiviteiten, werktijden en gebruikte materialen registreren in het onderhoudssysteem.
• Technische tekeningen en schema's bijwerken waar nodig.
• Projecten van Technical Services ondersteunen en samenwerken met externe leveranciers.

Samenvatting

Join Mifa in Venlo as a Service Technician and keep advanced production machinery running through maintenance, troubleshooting and technical repairs.

Over de functie

As a Service Technician at Mifa, you will be part of the Technical Services department and responsible for keeping production machinery and technical installations reliable and operational.

You will work with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical failures and performing repairs and overhauls. You will independently analyse machine problems, identify their root causes and determine the correct repair method.

Your responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and analysing technical machine failures
• Identifying root causes and determining the correct repair method
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Repairing and replacing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components
• Carrying out partial and complete machine overhauls
• Performing internal calibration procedures
• Carrying out machine modifications together with Engineering
• Testing machines and equipment after repairs or modifications
• Reading and working with technical drawings and electrical and mechanical schematics
• Recording maintenance activities, working hours and used materials in the maintenance system
• Updating technical drawings and schematics when required
• Supporting Technical Services projects and cooperating with external suppliers

Wat wij vragen

• MBO-level technical education or comparable technical experience
• Experience in industrial maintenance, technical service or machine maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge and experience with hydraulic systems
• Experience with troubleshooting and technical fault diagnosis
• Ability to independently analyse and solve technical problems
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
• A practical and hands-on approach to maintenance and repairs
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
• Safety- and quality-conscious working attitude
• Good communication skills in Dutch, English or German
